The Hemp Fiber Classifier has revolutionized hemp fiber processing. It is the first 100% mechanized process that can separate up to 60,000 lbs per hour (AKA 30 tons per hour) of hemp at a fraction of the cost of hemp decorticators. Smaller, lower cost systems are also available.

The Hemp Fiber Classifier was developed by an engineer and farmer in partnership with Forsbergs, Inc., the global leader in separation equipment, to fill a gap in the market. Before this system, hemp processors were left to purchase either high-quality and prohibitively expensive decorticators or to try their luck on less expensive, but low-quality systems. Unfortunately, those purchasing the expensive decorticators often cannot price their fiber competitively due to high capital costs. Additionally, because decortication equipment is usually manufactured outside of the U.S., technicians are difficult to reach and systems may not be able to start up and run continuously. The Hemp Fiber Classifier is made in America and provides an industrial grade system at a cost that will allow you to price your fiber competitively.

How It Works
Starting with dried and chopped whole plants, the material runs through a series of separation machines to create nearly pure end products. The end products are bast fiber, hurd fiber, and seed.
Customization.
Each separation system is specifically tailored to meet the customer’s needs, such as large hurd fiber, small hurd fiber, seed protein, seed oil, or pure bast fiber. The customization service is provided at no additional cost.
Clean End Product.
Utilizing agitation along with separation, we are able to produce 95%+ pure end products including hurd fiber, bast fiber, and seed. The are no other automated systems that can reach this level of purity.
Capacity and Speed.
Ranging anywhere from 2,000 lbs per hour up to 60,000 lbs per hour, the Hemp Fiber Classifier separates the whole hemp plant at industrial scale into usable fractions.
